Force cancel check out

When a designer checks out objects, he can cancel the check out to remove the lock without saving the modifications. If needed, administrators can forcibly use a command Force Cancel Check Out in object browser but all the modifications are lost. Also found in ribbon path Model > Tools > Control Access > Force cancel check out.

Note: Force cancel check out is disabled for documents.

Take ownership

If a replica has got ownership for objects, normally replica is the only one to give back the ownership to parent server.

Administrators at any relative parent server can forcibly take ownership from replica using command Take Ownership in object browser. Changes made after last update are lost. Also found in ribbon path Model > Tools > Control Access > Take ownership.
